Kang is the most dangerous villain the Avengers have ever faced. How can they win? Well, there is a way.

As the MCU enters a new phase, its new villain, Kang the Conqueror, is so powerful and dangerous that many people believe the Avengers —especially the new, yet-to-be-announced lineup — are incapable of defeating him.

A fan theory on Reddit, however, offers an unexpected twist that could change the odds in the Avengers' favor. If Kang always returns as a variant, what if one of his variants turns out to be good and helps the Avengers defeat the evil version of himself?

"I think this truly makes sense, along with Avengers, newly introduced characters, X-men and other mutants, some ground level heroes like Punisher, Daredevil, The Eternal and He who remains, end the Kang Dynasty and put the game back to square one and after that He who remains finds a purpose to create one single timeline and maintain it well," Redditor steveychevey suggested in their theory.

Such a scenario would not only give the Avengers a chance, but it would also spice things up in the MCU, because this theory could totally work. The best part? Even if this theory turns out to be true, it doesn't mean the plot twists are over.

"I like it, but with this variation: Good Kang helps defeat Bad Kang, Good Kang turns out to not be good after all now the avengers have to defeat Kang without the help of Kang," Redditor gwarwars said.

After all, the Avengers must do some work. Now that the stakes are even higher than they were in Infinity War, the battle could be much tougher, even with the most powerful heroes on the Avengers' side.

The first Avenger to deal with Kang will be Scott Land, aka Ant-Man. He will lock horns with He Who Remains in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which is set to hit theaters on February 17.
