What happened on screen was too much for the actress.

For many years Angelina Jolie has been one of the most popular and experienced actresses in Hollywood, whose roles include everything – adventure movies, action movies, dramas and biopics.

However, hardly anyone remembers the role with which her career began, while the actress herself felt bad after seeing the first relatively big movie with her participation.

The first independent role of Jolie took place in 1993 in the movie Cyborg 2: Glass Shadow.

The plot of this fantastic action movie is set in the year 2074 where robots have replaced humans in many areas of life.

In one of the scenes, the actress' character's head is cut off, but she, being a cyborg, continues to speak. When Jolie first saw the movie, she could not cope with her stomach while watching this scene:

"Oh, I threw up. I did. I saw it and I threw up. [...] I just remember my brother Jamie [Haven] holding me and saying, 'It's going to be all right."

According to movie plot, two large companies from the US and Japan share spheres of influence in software and robotics. An American company has developed attractive female cyborgs with explosives sewn into their bodies.

Their purpose is to destroy the Japanese company's competitors and bring down their shares on the stock exchange, thus eliminating the competitor.

In one of the cyborg models, a new technology has been introduced that allows a cyborg named Casella Reese, played by Angelina Jolie, to experience different emotions from anger to love.

One day, an unknown hacker breaks into the system and tells Reese that they want to destroy her by blowing her up with explosives in negotiations with competitors.

She enlists the help of her hand-to-hand combat instructor, Colt, to escape the corporation and get rid of the explosives.

During the escape, a romance blossoms between Reese and Colt. In addition, assassins have been sent after them to bring back the cyborg and kill Colt.

The movie, directed by Michael Schroeder, failed at the box office and received a huge amount of negative reviews from critics and viewers.

Cyborg 2's rating on Rotten Tomatoes is only 20%.

However, Jolie's career, which began with a failure, from that moment only went up and allowed her to become one of the most successful actresses in Hollywood.
