An Underdog TV Show with 94% Score Just Dethroned Fallout & You’ve Never Heard of It
After just over a month of domination on Prime Video, Fallout gave up its top spot on the most-watched list. It got taken over by a German series you’ve never heard of.
Immediately upon its April 11, 2024 premiere, Prime Video ’s Fallout became the New Big Thing on the platform. For over a month, the post-apocalyptic TV show dominated the Prime Video’s charts, but that ended today. A new competitor rose from seemingly out of nowhere, and we bet you’ve never heard about it until now.
Who Dethroned Fallout?
The short answer would be, a complete underdog of a TV show. The longer answer is, Maxton Hall - The World Between Us. It’s a brand new German series with cast and crew so fresh to the rooster their pages on major platforms barely have any information except their names — but their show is already doing spectacularly.
Maxton Hall is a public school with a dark secret, and a new scholarship student accidentally becomes a witness to it. An arrogant and powerful millionaire becomes hellbent on silencing her, but there’s an issue: these two stubborn people might hate each other, but the connection and drive between them is undeniable. What will they do about it — and Maxton Hall’s secret? That’s what this TV show is all about.
Maxton Hall Basks in Positive Reviews
Having only just premiered on Prime Video, the streamer’s new original series immediately took over the top spot on its most watched list. Tarek Roehlinger’s romantic drama, despite going under the radar of most viewers, is working wonders on the platform, and has a solid record of reviews and audience scores to show for it.
On Rotten Tomatoes, Maxton Hall boasts a stellar 94% Audience Score, and it even managed to pull off a more-than-solid 7.6/10 score on IMDb. Maxton Hall’s story has just begun, but it began with a bang. We’re expecting more people to flock to this captivating romantic drama, especially from the United States: we, for one, were very curious to see what was the German underdog that managed to dethrone Fallout.
