All The Witcher Comics in Chronological Order Before S4 Drops

Note: Comic books can be based either on the book lore or the game lore. The books are canon for video game lore, not the other way around. The Netflix show is based on the original books.

The Witcher: Fox Children (2015)

Geralt finds himself aboard a ship with the most decadent and wicked people he’s ever met. All of them carry a treasure worth of sins behind, but one is the doom for every living person on the vessel as they are the Fox Mother’s target. The enraged vixen will go to any length to kill her foe, and only the witcher can save the others.

The Witcher: House of Glass (2014)

The White Wolf accepts a contract from a widowed fisherman whose dead wife turned a mansion — the House of Glass — into her dark residence. Inside the House of Glass, much horror awaits the witcher as the creatures lurking in its never-ending halls are hungry for his blood. Tormented, Geralt only wishes to escape with his life.

The Witcher: Reasons of State (2011)

While war rages in the Northern Kingdoms closest to the Nilfgaardian Empire, the most northern lands feel safe and remain indifferent to their neighbors’ struggle. Geralt ventures into the barony of Creigiau in Malleore, a peaceful place with little trouble — but amid its scenery, the new cult clashes with the pagan gods’ worship.

The Witcher: Matters of Conscience (2015)

The White Wolf returns to Upper Aedirn for a contract to kill a chelonodrake that’s been terrorizing the local folks, and finds that the land is in a precarious position. While different races always struggle to live in peace, the balance of things is also disturbed by the recent revelation that not a person rules here but a dragon.

The Witcher: Killing Monsters (2015)

After Yennefer’s disappearance, Geralt and Vesemir’s search for the sorceress leads them to Vorune, a small town occupied by the Nilfgaardian soldiers. The Nilfs have a contract for the two witchers, but the man-eating beast they have to kill is far from the only monster in the town, and the White Wolf can’t ignore the pleas for help.

The Witcher: Curse of Crows (2016)

Geralt and Ciri come to Novigrad as the city is being ravaged by a striga, and the White Wolf is one of the few people who has already survived an encounter with such a beast. But finding and killing the striga is not the two witchers’ only task: they need to figure out where it came from and whether it’s Geralt’s past haunting him.

The Witcher: Of Flesh and Flame (2018)

The White Wolf’s attempt to help his old friend leads to unforeseen consequences. The witcher finds himself in the lands he never imagined traveling to and has to deal with the deadly threat to the local king, his concubines’ shenanigans, an old friend’s daughter, and a dark force that threatens to completely overtake everything in sight.

The Witcher: Fading Memories (2020)

The witchers have never been a wealthy bunch, living from contract to contract, but as the monsters largely go extinct, Geralt finds himself in the worst financial struggle ever. Fortunately for him, an unexpected foglet contract takes him to the small town of Badreine — but the White Wolf senses that something is wrong with this mission.
