Here is a late little Christmas treat in the form of the hardest ranking an Office fan can ever come up with.

Most of the time, life at work is boring and full of routine tasks. But not when the holidays roll around! It doesn't really matter what the reason for the celebration is, anything goes when there's a chance that pizzas will be ordered and booze will be legal at the workplace.

But The Office characters aren't your regular co-workers, and you can't fool them with Alfredo's pizza. Can any of you brag about having a special party planning committee at work? Well, the busiest time for them is around Christmas. And boy, do they love celebrating Christmas in different ways.

All Dunder Mifflin parties make us cringe, but here we are trying to rank them in order of cringeworthiness.

7. The Belsnickel

This is actually the last Christmas party that The Office staff celebrated together on screen, and it was the most emotional. Jim and Pam's relationship was at its lowest point because Jim was about to start working in Philadelphia and the day of the party would have been his first trip there.

However, he decided to stay and actually participate in the Christmas party that Dwight put together. It was a unique experience even for Dunder Mifflin employees. Dwight really recreated the German traditions and there was even The Belsnickel instead of Santa Claus. Well, this party compared to many others wins in normality even with Dwight handing out coal to his co-workers.

6. The one with all the wishes

This is the first Christmas without Michael stealing the spotlight, but he let Erin do it, because she is the one who is really in the center of attention this time. This Christmas party was also used by manager Andy to introduce his girlfriend and it was obviously too much for Erin.

She drank too much and behaved like a crazy woman, and seeing her in that state, Robert California decided to take her home. Andy went crazy and decided to follow them to see if Robert made a pass at Erin. But as we know, nothing happened because Robert California was a ride she couldn't survive...

5. The one with all the hummus and pita triangles

Season 5 gave us Phyllis as a party planner committee leader, who was at that time blackmailing Angela and forcing her to do everything she wanted in order to keep her secret affair with Dwight a secret. That’s why when Phyllis decided to have a Moroccan Christmas there was no one to stop her.

Well, the party started out great, but ended in disaster because Meredith got really drunk and somehow set her hair on fire, so Michael decided to step in and take her to rehab. Spoiler: it didn't work.

4. The one with the photoshopped Michael

The Benihana Christmas is one of the worst ever, and it shows once again how terrible Michael is at making any decision, be it professional or personal. He actually photoshopped his face into Carol's family pictures, which ultimately ended their relationship.

To feel better, he gathered his "work friends" and went to Benihana, only to return to the office party with two waitresses he couldn't tell the difference between. One good thing happened, though: Angela and Pam put aside their rivalry over who was the best party planner and joined forces.

3. The one with Twelve Days of Christmas

It was probably the most chaotic Christmas episode of all, with so many cringe-worthy things going on that it's hard to focus on just one. There was also the disturbing news that the branch was closing, but what really bothered Michale was the fact that Phyllis (a woman!) was appointed to be Santa that year.

The episode also featured the Secret Santa game, which Andy took too seriously and decided it was a good idea to give Erin the Twelve Days of Christmas as his gift to her. But his brilliant decision only ended up with the poor girl begging her Secret Santa to stop putting her through hell…

2. The one with everything classy

When it comes to impressing women, it's hard to find anyone worse than Michael, and among his many alter egos, "Date Mike" is probably the most annoying. He always goes overboard in his attempts to make things better, but ends up just worse than he started.

The same thing happened when he found out that Holly was coming to Scranton on the day of the Christmas party and upgraded it to a "classy" event to impress her. Add to that Dwight and Jim as party planning committee heads and you have a total disaster of a holiday party.

1. The one with the teapot and the Ipod

They say the first is always the best. Well, that works for us, too, when the best is the worst. Michael wanted to impress his employees and started a Secret Santa game. But in the middle of it, he "forgot" there was a $20 limit on gifts and bought a $400 iPod for Ryan, just to look like a cool boss.

Well, everything went wrong when it was decided that the gifts would not be given as planned, but that everyone could just claim whatever they wanted. And can you imagine how devastated Jim was when Pam chose the Ipod over the teapot and stuff that he had so carefully prepared for her?
