Branding in Seongsu - February 5
This romantic comedy has everything to offer its viewers. First of all, we get a strong female lead who is very confident in her abilities and has climbed high in her marketing career. Then we have a comic relief in the face of the male lead. A slightly awkward but charming intern who wants to work under her.
But it gets even better with a life-changing twist: the two switch bodies and, trapped as each other, must find their way out. Starring Park Solomon, Kim Ji-eun, Yang Hye-ji, and Kim Ho-young, this is a perfect comedy for cozy evenings.
A Killer Paradox - February 9
If you enjoyed The Strangers from Hell, you're in for another treat from the same director. A Killer Paradox is an intriguing, action-packed story about the moral dilemma of taking someone else's life.
After killing a serial killer, college student Lee Rang, portrayed by Choi Woo-shik, takes on the role of a vigilante and kills the bad guys one by one.
However, he isn't as good at covering his tracks as he thinks, as there is already a detective who is determined to uncover a person behind such a streak. A Killer Paradox will drop all 8 episodes on Netflix in one go.
Wedding Impossible - February 26
There is nothing more fitting for a February release than a drama that revolves around marriage, even if it is an arranged one.
The marriage between Oh Da-jung and Koo Chan-yeol would have been a perfect solution to all their problems. She would have gotten financial security and the chance to pursue her acting dream, while he would have been able to postpone his coming out to his family. But his brother is the one who decides that this should never happen.
The Impossible Heir - TBA
How many times have you wished that you would receive a letter telling you that you are the heir of a really wealthy person who wouldn't mind letting you join the family business?
Well, the reality of this meeting is very different from what Kang In-ha dreamed of. His newfound family rejects him, and he has to step up his game and take what he deserves anyway.
If you miss HBO's Succession, this K-drama might just fill the void in your heart. Lee Jae-wook, Lee Jun-young and Hong Su-zu in the leading roles would be a great bonus.
