Fallout is further proof that it is possible to adapt video games to the screen.

Fallout has been a huge success for Prime. Released on April 10th, it was viewed over 1.5 million times in 5 days. A total of 25 actors made guest appearances. Here are the top 5:

5. Michael Rapaport as Knight Titus

The Brotherhood of Steel has been a constant presence in the video game since its release. As you might expect, the Knights are expected to show bravery and valor.

Titus' face was covered upon his first introduction in Episode 2. When Michael Rapaport was revealed as the actor, viewers may have thought the character was destined for humorous involvement, but instead, Titus turned out to be a self-serving coward.

Rapaport has had cameos in:

But he’s arguably best known as Agent Don Self from Prison Break.

4. Fred Armisen as DJ Carl

In addition to being a popular face on Saturday Night Live, Armisen has been cast in several actual video games. In 2008, he played Pervert, Hotdog Vendor and Internet Nerd in Grand Theft Auto IV.

He later landed more prominent roles as:

  • Hugh Harrison in GTA V
  • Speedy Gonzales in Scooby Doo and Looney Tunes: Cartoon Universe
  • Aldridge T. Abbington in Red Dead Redemption 2

Throughout his career, Armisen has been heavily involved in television comedy and animated series. Many of his cameos have seen him playing funny characters, and DJ Carl continues that theme.

While post-apocalyptic shows tend to focus on nothing but survival, DJ Carl maintains his love of music and continues to broadcast his radio show.

3. Chris Parnell as Overseer Benjamin

Like Armisen, Chris Parnell is a regular on Saturday Night Live and has appeared in several comedy shows, including:

He is also the voice of Doug on Family Guy.

In Fallout, however, his character isn't just thrown in for comic relief. A Cyclops type being, Overseer Benjamin has only one eye and is a descendant of Surface Dwellers who were the subject of experiments. Benjamin himself was not part of the experiments that took place generations ago. But he lives in Vault 4 with other descendants and knows the history of his people.

Benjamin is a key player in the show, and Parnell does a great job of bringing him to life. Fortunately for the main cast, his appearances are limited enough that he doesn't steal the spotlight.

2. Matt Berry as Sebastian Leslie/Snip Snip

Matt Berry has an extensive filmography that includes roles in popular sitcoms such as:

  • The IT Crowd
  • The Mighty Boosh
  • Curb Your Enthusiasm

He’s also appeared some pretty decent lesser-known comedies:

  • Toast of London
  • Snuffbox
  • It’s Kevin

In Fallout, he plays 2 (possibly 3) characters in 3 episodes. In episode 4, he plays the Mr. Handy robot named Snip Snip. This role is perfect for his distinctive voice and is eventually revealed to be a robot that has been reprogrammed to harvest organs without the donor's consent. Berry also voices a Mr. Handy robot in episode 1, but it's not clear if this is Snip Snip before his reprogramming.

In episode 6, Berry also plays an actor named Sebastian Leslie, who is the voice of the Mr. Handy robots.

1. Michael Emerson as Dr. Siggi Wilzig

An integral part of the show's plot, Dr. Wilzig only appears in one episode. Wilzig is a scientist who shows bravery and compassion, even venturing out into the Wasteland when he has no obligation to do so.

Viewers may recognize Michael Emerson as Ben Linus from Lost or Zep Hindle from Saw. But he also has an impressive filmography that includes appearances in hit shows like:
