Kaley Cuoco's HBO Max series 'The Flight Attendant' took the world by storm last year -- the intricate plot and excellent comedic performances worked in its favor. So the sequel that followed was only a matter of time, and now that its time has come, what critics are saying about it?

Currently sitting at whooping 91% freshness on Rotten Tomatoes, the second season has not lost in quality comparing to the first.

TV Insider's Linda Maleh attributed series' success to "the investment in the characters, plus the fun globe-trotting action", while Pittsburgh Tribune-Review's Rob Owen described it as "airy fun but it's also well-plotted with an eye toward satisfying viewers".

Cuoco's performance once again was declared the best part of the show, with Decider's Kayla Cobb claiming that "it's hard to give Cuoco enough praise for what she does on screen this season". Maggie Fremont from TV Guide noted that "Cuoco can easily maneuver between the comedy and the darkness that still haunts her character", which ultimately "buoys the show".

However, not all critics' reaction was overwhelmingly positive – TV Fanatic's Paul Dailly concluded that "Some shows are only designed to have a short shelf-life, and 'The Flight Attendant ' worked much better as an eight-episode limited series", while Slashfilm's Jeremy Mathai ironically described the second season as "Kaley Cuoco Shines In An Enticing, But Uneven Attempt To Recapture Previous Heights".

'The Flight Attendant' premiers on April 21, 2022 on HBO Max.
