Jason Segel and Alyson Hannigan

Marshmallow and Lilypad from How I Met Your Mother are known for their healthy and ideal relationship on the show. Despite being a clingy couple constantly seeking each other's affection on screen, behind the scenes, Jason Segel and Alyson Hannigan didn't even like to kiss.

Hannigan had a problem with Segel's smoking habit, which led to a unique arrangement. For every cigarette Segel smoked during kissing scenes, he owed Hannigan $10. Guess what, by the end of the first day, he owed her $200.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet

On-screen kissing and making out scenes are stressful enough, but they can be even more uncomfortable when your family or close friends are watching.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, known for their iconic roles in Titanic, played a couple again while filming Revolutionary Road in 2008. This time, however, the passionate scenes were not so easy to pull off with Winslet's husband, Sam Mendes, directing the film.

Winslet admitted that she felt uncomfortable with the situation and struggled to maintain a romantic atmosphere, while her husband and co-star didn't really see any problem there.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger

Brokeback Mountain, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and the late Heath Ledger, was a breakthrough movie, portraying two gay men and their forbidden love.

While both actors were talented enough to pull off any scene and make it believable, the romantic moments between Gyllenhaal and Ledger proved to be quite challenging.

In fact, Gyllenhaal suffered an injury during a kissing scene. The physicality of the scene, in which both actors grabbed and kissed each other against a wall, took its toll on Gyllenhaal as his co-star nearly broke his nose, making their intense scene quite unforgettable for Jake.

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner

We were not the only ones who found the kiss odd. During the filming of The Twilight Saga, Kristen Stewart had to have intense scenes and kiss both her real-life boyfriend at the time, Robert Pattinson, and her close friend, Taylor Lautner, on multiple occasions throughout the five movies.

While it would be a dream come true for many Twilight fans to have the chance to kiss both the vampire and the wolf, it was super awkward for the actress.

She felt that getting romantically involved with Lautner's character went against the essence of Bella and was completely out of character. Well, we could feel the weird tension even through the screen.

While Dakota resorted to drinking shots of whiskey before sex and kissing scenes with James, Dornan would make silly noises to make his co-star laugh. It actually sounds like a kind of fun way to distract.
