It is not uncommon for actors to take mementos and souvenirs from sets of the movies in which they perform.

We've reported on funny occurrences related to that before (see, for example). Generally, and when allowed to do so, actors seek keep items unique to the film of the show, from fantasy prop weapons to prop tableware. Or things they've used to wear, like the wig, mentioned in the article above.

But sometimes such unique items which draw their attention (and are no longer needed for filming) are really, really weird.

For example, what do you think Daniel Radcliffe took from Harry Potter set as a memento once, besides a bunch of other stuff over the years, like a couple of sets of glasses?

Remember that somewhat unsettling scene from The Chamber of Secrets, where Harry's arm was enchanted to make all the bones soft and flabby? That scene used a prosthetic arm.

And as the famous actor revealed in an interview with BBC Radio 1:

"…what a weird thing for someone to find in the attic, one day I've got a prosthetic arm that was, um, that was molded for me in the scene where Harry, like, lost all the bones in his arms, so I've got, like, a big floppy arm in my attic."

Why would Daniel, back then when he was a kid, get an idea to take that prosthetic arm, useless for everything but the scene in which it was used, as memento, he did not say.

He also said, that he retained a mold of his face which was made when he was 10 or 11 and looks like a death mask. He's still keeping those items in the attic of his house.

Well, what can we say, Daniel Radcliffe certainly has pretty bizarre taste in souvenirs. Compared to that things like an arrow or even a wig look like completely mundane mementos.

One has to wonder what sorts of items he might have retained from the sets of his recent movies, like Escape From Pretoria, which he has been discussing in the interview above.
