The Story Behind A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder
Based on the best-selling young adult novel by Holly Jackson, the show tells the story of Pip Fitz-Amobi, a 17-year-old girl who lives in a sleepy town where nothing really happens… except for a tragedy that shocked everyone 5 years earlier and still hasn’t been solved.
The point is that the back-then school queen Andie went missing and was declared dead later, and this caused her boyfriend Sal to take his own life. The police concluded that it was a murder-suicide plot and dropped the case, but Pip isn’t going to stand by.
The girl teams up with Sal’s younger brother Ravi and aims to find out what really happened and uncover the true perpetrator, all while doing her school project on the subject.
