What is Bad Sisters About?
The dark comedy tells the story of five sisters from picturesque Ireland who banded together after the death of their parents, always supporting each other. The union falls apart when one of them marries and becomes a sad and helpless housewife whose husband forbids her to be herself.
The action takes place in two time periods: in the present – after the man's funeral, insurance inspectors begin to investigate the mysterious death; and in the past – when the sisters just decided to get rid of the evil husband.
