911 Star Teases a Heartbreaking Finale, but It Can Go Too Many Ways

No matter how many times 911 fans have sat in front of their televisions, gripping the edge of their seats and praying for a happy ending, the show has always delivered.
Through a variety of traumas, disasters, and crimes, all of the fan-favorite characters have remained strong. However, all of that may be about to change as the show now has to play by ABC's rules.
Best known for its longest-running primetime procedural, Grey's Anatomy, ABC is known for ruthlessly killing off its best characters. So far, the newly added 911 has been safe from such a threat, but fans still fear that it is only a matter of time before tragedy strikes.
Who Will Leave 911 in the Season 7 Finale?
Speaking to NBC's Access Hollywood, both Oliver Stark and co-star Louis Ferrigno Jr. were happy to tease the finale, even though it doesn't look too bright. Even though there are no cast departures planned, the finale of the first season under the ABC umbrella is going to hit viewers hard.
“I think fans are going to be a little heartbroken. <...> It’s an emotional one. We’re going big. We have a shortened season this year, so we’re going very heavy-handed when it comes to the finale and I think we’re going to be pulling some harsh strings, but, hey, that’s what you want from the dramas, right?” Stark said.
Of course, the actor is right in assuming that fans live for the suspense and drama the show throws at them. As a result, the Internet is already abuzz with theories about what exactly could go wrong in the final episode of the season. With so many characters overcoming so many difficulties this season, anyone could be the target.
Unfortunately, many believe that Stark could have been alluding to either his character, who still isn't protected from the pain of heartbreak. Even though Buck and Tommy haven't been together long, there's still a good portion of the audience that believes Tommy was never meant to be a long-term relationship, but a powerful awakening moment.

Still, given the state Eddie is in right now, fighting his inner demons and facing the truth about his ex-wife and the feelings he repressed for a long time, the return of Bobby's immense guilt for his past, and Hen and Karen's efforts to adopt Mara, there are more ways for things to go wrong than fans can count.
Luckily, 911 has already been officially renewed and fans can be sure that ABC will deliver new episodes by the start of the 2024/25 broadcast season. Be sure to tune in to ABC on May 30 to catch the grand finale of 911 season 7.
