ABC will have to deal with what's left from this finale, though.

911 fans have been through some very tense times over the past few months. Not knowing the fate of their favorite show added to the growing frustration with the writers and showrunners.

Thankfully, things ended well with the news that the show was moving from FOX to ABC.

However, this did not save the season 6 finale from being a complete flop. There were already some challenges that ABC would face with the move.

Although viewers would assume that the core team working on 911 today would remain the same, the network would still have to make some tough decisions about where to take the show next.

The final episode of season 6 may have just made their job a little harder.

Fans believe that if it weren't for the sudden move, this would be the last they'd see of their favorite characters. And if that were the case, 911 could easily join Game of Thrones, Pretty Little Liars, and Heroes on the list of shows with the most anticlimactic endings.

It was a close call, but they managed to dodge it, and now fans want to see the improvements for the real finale.

There was such a huge buildup that viewers expected the episode to end on a big cliffhanger, or at least see someone in trouble.

Instead, they got a quick 15-minute fix of everything that just didn't feel realistic and left a bad taste in their mouths.

Bobby, who managed not to leave the scene with broken legs and a broken spine after being pinned down. Chimney, who was bleeding badly but ended up fine.

A premature baby is big and delivered so fast that anyone with a full-term pregnancy might be jealous. There's nothing wrong with a happy ending, but in this case it defeats the purpose of the suspense.

The only hope fans have for now is to see some of these arcs picked up next season, with the few complications added.

It won't save the season finale for sure, but it might bring back the excitement the audience once had for 911.
