911 Fans Believe They Cracked the Next Major Twist Through… Family Feud?
Not that it was hard to guess.
Summary:
- After the premiere of 911 's 100th episode, which featured a queer romance for one of the show's OG characters, the Internet is buzzing with ideas about what to expect.
- While some think Buck's bisexual arc means his eventual romance with Eddie, others believe he'll stay with Tommy for a while.
- However, the recent taping of the Celebrity Family Feud episode just gave viewers the clue they have been waiting for.
Nothing beats the excitement of a longtime fan of the show realizing that some of their wildest theories were right all along. As 911 has moved networks and hit its 7th season, many viewers have given up on their initial ships and queer headcanons about Buck and Eddie.
Turns out they were (at least partially) right all along. As the fandom continues to celebrate, one big question remains unanswered: does Buck's bisexual awakening mean that Eddie's will soon follow? Some 911 viewers believe they have already gotten the answer to all their questions without any new promos or leaks.
911 Cast on Celebrity Family Feud
With 911 moving under the ABC umbrella for season 7, it's not surprising that the show is making a round of collaborations with some of the network's mainstays.
Not just the scripted ones, but reality and game shows as well. The 100th episode happened to be a crossover with The Bachelor, and now the cast is making an appearance on Celebrity Family Feud.
According to social media posts, the game was attended by Aisha Hinds, who portrays Hen, Tracie Thoms, who portrays her wife Karen, Bryan Safi, who portrays Josh Russo, and Oliver Stark and Ryan Guzman, who portray Buck and Eddie.
It doesn't take much to guess that the actors were chosen for playing LGBTQ+ characters, but what is Ryan Guzman doing there?
While the appearance may be a fun coincidence, many fans of 911 believe the team was chosen to represent the values of equality that the show stands for. And Ryan Guzman's Eddie will have to join the ranks of canonical LGBTQ+ characters before this Celebrity Family Feud episode airs.
The promo for You Don't Know Me, the fifth episode of season 7, which airs April 11, still shows Eddie on a date with his current girlfriend, Marisol, but the synopsis suggests that the couple decides to take a closer look at their relationship. Whatever that means, any serious conversation can go both ways, so Buddie fans may not be far from the truth.
Whatever happens next with 911 is up to the writers, and no cast member seen outside the show can be taken as 100% proof of any plot theory. However, as long as it helps keep the buzz around the show going, there is no harm in keeping your guesses flowing. Especially now that it’s confirmed that anything can happen.
