Feels like we got that Netflix reboot only yesterday.

It's no secret that the 90s are back in a big way. From fashion to pop culture, it seems like everything from the decade of grunge and boy bands is making a comeback. So it's no surprise that fans of the beloved 90s TV series Sabrina the Teenage Witch are clamoring for a reboot of the show.

But when E! News caught up with the show's star, Melissa Joan Hart, at 90s Con, she had some not-so-enthusiastic words about the prospect of a reboot.

"It's a tricky question because it's not up to me," Hart said. "And it's already been done with Netflix. They did a version, and I just don't think it would be as great as the original."

The actress went on to explain that she believes nostalgia can be a tricky thing, and that trying to recreate something that people remember fondly can be difficult. "I always like to move forward," she said.

But what about the idea of revisiting the character of Sabrina, now all grown up and possibly passing her witchy powers down to a new generation? Hart wasn't convinced.

"Everybody talks about her and Harvey having a baby and the baby finding out she's got powers or something, but I don't know," she said. "That's been done a lot. I feel like someone could figure out a different way and that'd be great."

While it's clear that Hart isn't exactly holding her breath for a reboot, fans of the show can take comfort in the fact that the actress didn't rule it out entirely.

"If it were to come about, it would have to be a special situation," she said.

So who knows? Maybe one day we'll see a new version of Sabrina the Teenage Witch on our screens, but in the meantime, we'll just have to make do with re-watching the original series.
