The show also raises serious questions, such as is it possible to identify psychopaths at an early stage? That is, before the person is even born. And if so, how humane is it to let the child be born?

2. Weak Hero Class 1 (2022)

The show highlights one of the most common problems teenagers face at school: bullying. The main character of this K-drama, Yeon Shi Eun, is a brilliant student who is at the top of his class but is constantly bullied.

Despite the fact that he is not really an athlete, he defends himself with the power of physiology and intellect. But one day he gets in real danger and needs help, so he teams up with Soo Ho and Bum Seok. Together they will stand up to bullies inside and outside of school using their own methods.

3. Gaus Electronics (2022)

The series focuses on the stressful and chaotic lives of a particular team in the marketing department of a large corporation. Needless to say, the team consists of ten quirky employees, each of whom has their own thing that makes their work life unbearable. It's hard to imagine a more dysfunctional team than this one.

However, as time goes on, they actually learn how to work together and no longer want to leave the team.

4. The Red Sleeve (2021-2022)

The heartwarming story of true love is at the heart of this series, but as always, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. The show is set in the Joseon era and focuses on the life of the young prince Yi San. His father was killed by his grandfather, the current king, leaving the young man deeply scarred.

But Yi San is a good man, and he wants to become a king who will reform the law for the better. At the court he meets a young and amazingly intelligent woman and falls in love with her. Sung Deok Im also has strong feelings for him, but is not willing to give up her freedom to become a royal. Will Yi San be able to convince her?

5. The Eighth Sense (2023)

Understanding who you are and what you want out of life isn't easy. Sometimes people spend their whole lives trying to answer these questions and still leave this world without the answers. The show focuses on two friends trying to figure out what they mean to each other.

Ji Hyun is a college freshman who is having a hard time adjusting to the big city life in Seoul. One day he meets Jae Won, who has just returned from military service. They have a lot in common, so they start spending more and more time together, until they finally share a kiss. However, the reaction that follows – leaves Ji Hyun deeply confused...

6. Twinkling Watermelon (2023)

Also known as Sparkling Watermelon, the show tells the story of Eun Gyeol's double life as an exemplary student by day and a band member by night. One day he stumbles upon a strange music store that takes him back in time.

There, in 1995, he meets the young version of his father, who is also a music fan, just like him. But it seems to Eun Gyeol that everything is wrong now and his father might not even end up with his future mother! In order to make things go his way, he pulls some questionable strings.

Overall a lot of things go into this and everything flows smoothly which is rarely the case since many k-dramas rely heavily on cheesy romance and pushed comedy (this is different yet effective),” Redditor Aneesmahajan said.

7. Your Honor (2018)

This K-drama centers on twin brothers Han Soo Ho and Han Kang Ho. They are both smart and good-looking, but eventually have decided to lead completely different lifestyles. Soo Ho is a born winner, he is sure that this is the only way to gain power. But his brother is a born athlete who uses this to undermine Soo Ho's position.

Well, there's something Han Soo Ho is much better at than his brother and that's studying, so he throws himself into it and becomes much smarter than him and that widens the gap between them. Kang Ho becomes a criminal, and Soo Ho becomes a judge. But one day, when nobody expects it, the role of the judge goes to the bad brother...
