7 Shameless Actors You Might Have Missed Watching Law & Order

If you watched Law & Order and its spinoffs, you couldn't possibly help but notice how many actors who would later become popular you can meet. If you're also a fan of Shameless, you've probably spotted a few familiar faces.

1. Emmy Rossum (Fiona Gallagher)

You can’t possibly forget Fiona, the tough-as-nails Gallagher sibling. Emmy Rossum, who brought Fiona to life, appeared in the Law & Order episode Ritual in 1997. She played a character named Alison Martin, who is the daughter of a man suspected in murder.

2. Cameron Monaghan (Ian Gallagher)

Cameron Monaghan, who brilliantly portrays Ian Gallagher, appeared in the 2012 SVU episode Father's Shadow. His character, Eddie, is quite different from the complex Ian. In this episode, Cameron dives into the darker sides of character portrayal, adding a memorable performance to his repertoire.

3. Ethan Cutkosky (Carl Gallagher)

Ethan Cutkosky, known for his role as the often-troublesome Carl Gallagher, showed up in a 2013 episode of SVU titled Born Psychopath. As the title suggests, Ethan played Henry Mesner, a deeply disturbed young boy. It was a stark contrast from his Shameless role.

4. Steve Howey (Kevin Ball)

Steve Howey, who we adore as Kevin Ball, the hilariously loveable neighbor in Shameless, appeared in the 2017 SVU episode Intent. He portrayed Andy "The Monster" McPherson, an MMA fighter and the online boyfriend of social media celebrity Katy Miller.

5. Jeremy Allen White (Lip Gallagher)

Jeremy Allen White, who brilliantly plays Lip Gallagher, the gifted but troubled brother, played three different characters on Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

6. Noel Fisher (Mickey Milkovich)

Noel Fisher, known for his portrayal of Mickey Milkovich, the rough-around-the-edges yet endearing character in Shameless, appeared in a couple of the SVU episodes. His character, Dale Stuckey, is a CSU technician. Fisher previously appeared in Law & Order: CI.
