1. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

Viggo Mortensen injected real pain into his performance in a scene where his character, Aragorn, believes Merry and Pippin are dead. When the actor kicks a helmet and falls to his knees in agony, Mortensen actually broke two toes and his real scream of pain was captured by director Peter Jackson, who decided to keep this powerful scream in the movie.

2. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
