6 Stranger Things Villains Who Sadly Never Got What They Deserved
These bullies, bad dads, and even military Colonels got away with it all.
Stranger Things fans know that satisfying feeling when a despicable character gets what they deserve. However, some characters made fans wonder why they got away with their actions and never faced consequences.
1. Tommy Hagan
This guy was your classic high school bully, hanging out with Steve Harrington and making life miserable for our main crew. But here’s the thing, Steve turned from a jerk to everyone’s favorite babysitter, but we hardly got to see any redemption arc for Tommy, and he never got punished for his behavior.
2. Lonnie Byers
Lonnie Byers, the estranged father of Jonathan and Will, was undoubtedly a terrible dad. He was distant, uncaring, and basically the total opposite of the father-of-the-year. But the show kind of just brushed him off and left us wondering if this guy got any comeuppance.
It felt like there was more to explore with Lonnie, maybe a confrontation or a bit more insight into his character.
3. Neil Hargrove
Another dad on the list, Neil Hargrove, Max and Billy’s father, was, well, the worst. He was abusive and just downright nasty. But the thing is, we saw so little of him, and then he was out of the picture for good. Sure, nobody wanted him to stick around, but a little punishment for him would have been satisfying.
4. Ozerov
Ozerov, the Russian Colonel in season 3, was definitely a bad guy. Despite all his sketchiness, Ozerov managed to slink away into the shadows without taking responsibility for his shady dealings.
5. Jake
Jake, a character introduced in season 4, is not exactly the nicest guy in Hawkins. He's a teenager who enjoyed tormenting Eleven alongside his girlfriend, Angela. While Angela really got what she deserved when Eleven hit her with a skate foot, Jake got away unpunished. Maybe he will reconsider his behavior after what happened to Angela.
6. Jack Sullivan
Lt. Colonel Jack Sullivan is another character from season 4. Sullivan is determined to stop the evil in Hawkins, and he believes Eleven is responsible for a series of horrific events and wants to neutralize her.
Although he's got good intentions, his methods are too extreme. Who knows, maybe he'll team up with our protagonists in season 5. If not, he'll need to face the consequences of his actions.
