Looking for your next favourite Netflix series? These shows have just been added.

Netflix is packed full of top shows and movies. But if you don’t get in at the start, you run the risk that someone reveals a spoiler. To mitigate that risk, you’re advised to start watching the best shows before everyone starts talking about them.

So, if you like to watch the freshest shows, check out these latest releases:

1. Comedy Royale

Released November 28

IMDb Score: 64%

It’s the Royal Rumble of the Korean comedy circuit. 20 of the best comedians in South Korea are battling it out to win the chance to host a zany comedy show on Netflix. There are crazy things going on all over the place, with the contestants seemingly prepared to do almost anything to get a laugh and be in with a chance of winning. The whole show is absolutely bonkers – but I promise you, you won’t be able to take your eyes off it.

2. Love Like a K-Drama

Released November 28

IMDb Score: 60%

K-Drama is all the rage right now. And this one is a K-Drama about a K-Drama. More specifically, it’s about four actors from Japan who travel to South Korea for auditions. Each of them wants to land a role in a romantic K-Drama. But are these love stories only being played out on screen? Or is there something deeper going on?

It’s love stories within love stories. So, if romance is your thing, this is the show for you.

3. Onmyoji

Released November 28

IMDb Score: 74%

A Netflix original anime. This show tells the story of Abe no Seimei who was an onmyoji in ancient Japan. An onmyoji was a high-ranking position in Japan and was linked to divination, geomorphology and the five principles of yin and yang.

While Abe no Semei was a real person, the show is based on the legends that built up around him following his death in 1005. Think about the legend of Merlin and you’ll be on the right track. Rooted in reality but not historically accurate, it’s still a top show.

4. Verified Stand-Up

Released November 28

IMDb Score: 46%

If you like stand-up comedy, you’ll love this show. Filmed at the Webster Hall in New York City, this two-part show features 10-minute comedy sets from 10 of the best up-and-coming comedians in America.

Some of these are going to be around for years to come. So, if you want to see them while they’re still on the rise, you can do a lot worse than watch this show.

5. A Nearly Normal Family

Released November 24

IMDb Score: 69%

Based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Swedish author MT Edvardsson, this crime thriller tests the limits of family ties. A seemingly normal family is plunged into a toxic situation following a murder.

How far are they prepared to go to protect one another?

It’s a gripping show that matches other great Swedish crime dramas such as Trapped and The Bridge.

6. Olóládé

Released November 24

IMDb Score: 77%

This African drama sees two friends, a teacher and a mechanic, suddenly become rich. After quitting their day jobs to start their own betting business, life is just peachy. But money doesn’t come out of nowhere. The pair's good fortune is about to catch up with them as they realise they’re embroiled in a major money laundering scam and have made some very dangerous enemies.

It’s tense, gripping and will have you hooked from the outset.
