5 Young Sheldon Final Season Predictions That Actually Make Sense
Let’s fill out the final bingo card.
As unfortunate as it was for fans to find out that Young Sheldon Season 7 would be the show's last, it was also quite predictable. The events of the series were getting closer to the point where Sheldon would be leaving the family home and exploring opportunities in the outside world, so it was only logical to wrap things up nicely.
Although viewers are still reeling from the devastating news, they have already made their own predictions for the show's final episodes. Here are the five that make the most sense:
Missy and Sheldon Will Reconcile
Too many people were bothered by Missy's "I hate you" line not to finally fix it. Though she has all the right to be upset, since she's clearly a neglected relative compared to Sheldon, it's clear that the sibling love is all there. And as heartwarming finales usually go, the family members should definitely find common ground.
Chaos In The Cooper’s House
If you remember, Meemaw's house was completely destroyed in the season 6 finale, which can only mean one thing. The Coopers will now have to live as a family of 8 under one roof, and knowing how chaotic they usually are, this forced proximity will only lead to them bringing out the worst in each other. But it will still be quite entertaining for the viewers.
Georgie and Mandy ’s Wedding
No sitcom should avoid a wedding episode, and Young Sheldon probably won't either.
There are just so many ways for the event to go horribly wrong that it would be silly to pass it up. Perhaps such an episode would also give us a bit of adult Sheldon's reflection on his own wedding to Amy and the state of their marriage, which would be a nice cherry on top.
George Isn’t Going To Die (On Screen)
There is an ongoing discourse about George's death on the show, and while some people feel it's overdue, others feel that this version of George Cooper doesn't deserve to die so soon. And that is more likely to happen.
Would that affect the events described in The Big Bang Theory canon? Absolutely. But looking back at the last 6 seasons of the show, it's safe to say that the canon was never that sacred to the creators anyway.
Context of Narration
It is safe to assume that the finale will offer viewers an explanation as to why Sheldon is telling this story. Was this his autobiography? Was that the interview or podcast he was invited to do? What would be a really nice touch is to see a final scene with Jim Parsons himself appearing as the adult version of Sheldon, but that is more wishful thinking.
