Some could’ve been defeated by just pointing a sonic at them.

Although Doctor Who is and always has been a family show, some of the monsters the Doctor has to fight are far from family-friendly. Even grown-ups are afraid to look away from the angel statues for too long or to step into the shadows, thanks to some of the most traumatizing episodes.

However, some of the villains aren't half as interesting or terrifying. Here are the top five of the Doctor's weakest rivals that fans hope never to see again.

Adolf Hitler

Remember how easy it was to lock the Fuhrer in a cupboard? The episode has been heavily criticized for introducing the name Hitler as a way to provoke viewers when the actual plot could have taken place anywhere and at any time. If anything, Hitler's presence felt more like a PR stunt.

Sycorax

Despite their intimidating appearance and their goal to conquer the world, the Sycorax did not understand the power they were up against. With their most dangerous weapon, their blood magic, proving to be a complete bluff, they never stood a chance against humans and were very naive to think they did.

A Dalek fleet

It's important to note that it's often much easier to defeat a fleet of Daleks than a single Dalek. While they follow orders and don't have to think when united in a group, a single Dalek has to get creative, and that's usually much more dangerous. If Whovians are going to be stuck with Daleks forever, let's at least separate them.

The Dream Lord

While it was interesting and quite devastating to see the Doctor's darkest side manifest in a villain of its own, he was by no means the strongest. Manipulative and witty, but without any real supernatural powers, he was easily defeated by Amy and ended up doing far more good than harm. If anything, even Mr. Clever could've done a lot more damage.

Krasko

Not only was he a convict who couldn't get his hands on anyone, but the whole approach to the character just lacked originality. Making the villain a straight-up racist from the future didn't really excite anyone and didn't add any value to the show.
