Nobody even thought about these crossovers, but deep down, we all totally needed them.

Sometimes, TV showrunners come up with a brilliant idea to make a crossover with another fictional world. While sometimes a crossover ends up making sense, some crossovers don’t even try to.

We are about to explore some of the most unexpected crossovers that made us do a double-take and question the sanity of the showrunners, but somehow, they just worked.

ALF & Mr. Robot

Yeah, you read that right. The lovable, cat-eating alien from the 80s sitcom found himself in the high-stakes world of Elliot Alderson's mind in season 2 of Mr. Robot.

Elliot, in a coma-induced dream, embarks on a sitcom-style road trip, complete with a run-in with our favorite extraterrestrial, Gordon Shumway. This episode was a wild departure from Mr. Robot's usual tone, but it was entertaining.

The Office UK & The Office US

Ricky Gervais brought his character David Brent across the pond for a surprise appearance in the American version. The encounter between Brent and Steve Carell's Michael Scott was a bit of a head-scratcher, with Brent's London accent clashing with Scott's American twang.

But the awkwardness was part of the charm, and it was a treat to see these two comedic powerhouses share the screen.

Legends of Tomorrow & Supernatural

In a clever twist, Supernatural's iconic Impala made a guest appearance on Legends of Tomorrow. The Legends team stumbles upon the Impala while on a mission in Vancouver, where Supernatural was filming.

This meta crossover took a dark turn when it was revealed that Supernatural's crew had been killed off.

Are you into crossovers?

Power Rangers & Ninja Turtles

The Turtles, fresh off their own live-action show, made a guest appearance on Power Rangers in Space. The episode, aptly titled Shell Shocked, saw the Turtles brainwashed by the villainous Astronema, who used them to steal the Power Rangers' spaceship.

The Turtles eventually broke free and joined forces with the Rangers, resulting in a thrilling showdown.

Supernatural & Scooby-Doo

In the Supernatural episode Scoobynatural, the Winchester brothers found themselves in animated form, teaming up with none other than the Scooby gang.

The episode was a delightful blend of horror and humor, with guest appearances from the voice actors of the current Scooby-Doo series.
