Well, at least we can dream.

While the fanbase was devastated by the news that Young Sheldon season 7 would be the last, they were also grateful to have a release date to look forward to. Knowing how many weeks there are to go before the iconic sitcom returns is a lot more pleasant than being in complete darkness.

Now that everyone is a little less tense, the discussions about season 7 have begun. Who will return to the show and who will not? Will we see an adult Sheldon by the end of the season? Will the writers finally explain the story, or will it just remain a secret that it has been all along?

So many questions, and none of the answers are certain. At this point, it seems easier to predict what is sure not to happen. So, here are the 5 least likely young Sheldon's season 7 storylines.

Bobbi Sparks and Tam Nguyen Are Found

If you were still holding out hope for the return of these two kids, you better prepare yourself for disappointment. If the show couldn't find a reason to bring them back before, it's really unlikely that the writers would give them any screen time now, when the season is shorter than usual and there's still so much to go through.

George Dies On Camera

There is little chance that the writers will do this. Not only would it be devastating to viewers, but it would finally and completely ruin the connection between young Sheldon and The Big Bang Theory 's image of George. To make it at least a little believable, the conflict has to be created first. Or, even better at this point, death could be avoided altogether.

Paige Takes Her Life

Although Paige's storyline could have been very powerful and influential if done right, there's no way for young Sheldon to do it. The show is first and foremost a family sitcom, and the focus is on the Coopers most of the time. So Paige would most likely be fine and have her moment of realization.

Sheldon Catches George Cheating

As we noted earlier, it would be too out of character for the current George. The version of George Cooper we see in Young Sheldon is so much more caring and devoted to his family that, no matter how bad things get with Mary, it's hard to imagine him in those circumstances.

The Big Bang Theory Reunion

While many fans of the original The Big Bang Theory would love to see the cats reunited for at least a glimpse into their lives, it is highly unlikely that this will happen. At least not in the finale of this spinoff, which would focus on the Coopers themselves. But who knows what the next one might bring?
