Many see this twist as a typical ‘drama for drama's sake’ situation. The main couple would be boring if their relationship was not constantly messy, so the cheating episode happened. Howard Ruining Raj’s Marriage

Fans feel that Raj deserved a much better finale than he got, and marriage to Anu would have been one of the solid options.
