Best cameos of the year? Undoubtedly, The Bear.

The Bear is one of the most prominent series in recent years, with extremely positive ratings from both viewers and critics.

In addition, the series surprises with star cameos – the Hollywood actors do not draw all the attention to themselves and fit organically into the show.

1. Jon Bernthal

Michael Berzatto is the charismatic and unstable brother of the protagonist, who committed suicide. However, he regularly appears in flashback scenes, for which fans are eternally grateful. Why? Because he is played by the brilliant Jon Bernthal, known to most viewers for his role in The Punisher. The actor's strongest performance on the show was in the episode Fiches, where a family gathering turned into a complete disaster, largely due to Michael.

2. Jamie Lee Curtis

One of the most memorable cameos of the series, of course, was the appearance of Jamie Lee Curtis as the mother of the family, Donna Berzatto, in the episode Fishes. Donna with a cigarette and red nails screams, asks for help, does not accept it, laughs, screams again, blames everyone and asks heaven why and for whom she is doing all this. The actress managed to make the audience care about her character and her fate in just one episode.

3. Bob Odenkirk

Bob Odenkirk played Uncle Lee, who in reality has no family ties to the Berzattos. It's unclear how he ever earned the title of "uncle," given how strained his relationship is with almost every member of the family. One of the most memorable scenes in Fishes involved a heated argument between Uncle Lee and Michael, who threw forks at him.

4. Olivia Colman

Olivia Colman played Chef Terry, the owner of a three Michelin star restaurant. She shows up in the kitchen next to Richie, an intern at the restaurant, peeling mushrooms. According to her status, she is not supposed to do this, but she just likes it. She tells Richie her story, and her words sound like a magical parable – about work, serving people, about hope and getting up after a fall and about how it's never too late. Without a doubt, the most touching cameo of the series.

5. Sarah Paulson

Michelle, the cousin of the protagonist, played by Sarah Paulson, looks like the calmest and most level-headed person of Berzattos. Maybe that's because she decided to move to New York and keep her distance from the family. Viewers can see that even at dinner she keeps a bit of a distance from the hustle and bustle, helping Carmy deal with everything going on around him.
