5 Supernatural Characters Who Deserved a Much Better Ending
Not necessarily a happier one, but more respectful for sure.
As much as we all loved Sam and Dean, there's no doubt that they couldn't have gone all the way alone.
There were a lot of great characters that the brothers met along the way, and some of them had sacrificed themselves to help them make it out alive.
Sadly, all of the characters below were written off in the worst possible way, no matter how important they were to the story or how much viewers loved them.
Here are 5 Supernatural characters who definitely deserved a better ending, even if they were destined to die anyway.
Bobby Singer
Bobby's death was one of the biggest shocks of the series. Not only was the mere fact of his passing difficult to deal with, considering how important he was, but many found the whole ghost story or alternative reality path almost offensive to watch.
His death was majorly mishandled, and fans would never forgive the show for that.
Missouri Moseley
The disrespect the writers had for this character was baffling. She was completely abandoned and forgotten the first time around, and the audience decided to turn a blind eye to it, considering how packed the show was with supporting characters.
But bringing her back to be immediately killed off was a worst-case scenario, and Supernatural went for it.
Kevin Tran
In all fairness, Kevin deserved a better life, not to mention his horrific death. The man went through thick and thin with the Winchester brothers and received nothing but rudeness in return.
The lack of gratitude for his help throughout the show made many viewers uncomfortable, and his death felt too glossed over.
Crowley
The show put Crowley through too much misery to make him so dirty at the end. He had a pretty decent redemption arc, and there was no need to push him to sacrifice himself without any acknowledgement from the Winchester brothers.
Besides, his death still wasn't enough to fix anything, so it shouldn't have happened in the first place.
Charlie Bradbury
Charlie was always seen as a breath of fresh air in the Supernatural world, and her death hit viewers particularly hard.
But what makes it so bad is that there was no real justifiable reason for it, other than to push Dean towards the decision to accept the mark of Cain. A character so cherished shouldn't end up a mere plot device.
