The Office is popular and funny for many reasons, and Michael Scott's signature phrase is definitely one of them.

There have been many amazing That's What She Said moments, but we've picked the top five for you!

5. Hey, Can You Make That Straighter?

In the season 4 episode, Michael's golden boy Ryan circles back to town, and Michael does everything in his power to make this day special.

The Scranton Branch Party Planning Committee is busy prepping the office.

In the scene, the girls are hanging a banner that reads, "Welcome back, Ryan," and Michael can't resist the opportunity for a perfectly fitting "that's what she said" joke.

He comes in and says, "Hey, can you make that straighter?" (referring to the banner). No one gives him an answer, so he goes straight for his signature line. Michael is so Michael!

4. Why Is This So Hard?

While Michael tells this joke the most, other Office characters have had their time to shine as well. In season 3, Michael and Jan are trying to go public with their relationship, and it is not easy for Jan.

Understandable, Michael is a piece of work!

In a talking head moment, Jan contemplates the hardships of romance and goes, "Why is this so hard?"

After a moment of hesitation, she says, "That's what she said" (Michael really grows on you!) and quickly follows up with, "Oh my god, what am I saying?"

Too late, Jan, you've got Michael all over you!

3. Does the Skin Look Red or Swollen?

In season 2, Michael burns his foot on his George Forman Grill. Who is the first to come to his aid if not Assistant (to the) Regional Manager Dwight Schrute?

Unfortunately, the latter ends up crashing his car in the parking lot, resulting in a concussion.

Michael and Dwight rush to the ER where the doctor asks, "Does the skin look red or swollen?" Apparently, even the concussion is not enough to make Dwight lose his sense of humor (or rather, stop him from trying to please his boss), and he just mumbles, "That's what she said."

Michael is not impressed because once again someone else is using his joke!

2. Dip It in the Water So It'll Slide Down Your Gullet More Easily!

In season 3, Michael is sure that he is in line for a big promotion, so he invites everyone in the office to a beach day (and makes it interesting).

Michael announces that whoever wins the beach games will be the new Regional Manager.

One of the games, a hot dog eating contest, is about to start. Michael shouts helpful advice to Phillis to "dip it [the hot dog] in the water" because it will apparently make it easier to "slide down the gullet."

The phrase isn't meant to be sexually suggestive, but the office employees have Michael's joke ingrained in their brains by this point, causing them to say in unison, "That's what she said."

1. Dwight, Get Out of My Nook!

The time when Pam is the one making the joke is the most adorable, so it takes the crown.

In season 5, Jim and Dwight think that Kelly's tampered with their customer satisfaction surveys since they are the only ones to receive horrible feedback.

Dwight then goes to investigate the matter and gets too close to Kelly's desk, which makes her yell, "Dwight, get out of my nook!" Pam is not usually the one to make innuendo jokes, but this time she is the first to happily exclaim, "That's what she said" three times.

We are happy for Pam, she deserves the first place!

Are you finding this satisfactory? That's what she said. Sorry, we couldn't resist!
