The Bollywood movie industry is known for its amazing love stories, colorful costumes, beautiful songs, and of course, bizarre fight scenes. Almost all Indian movies also have some sort of super villain who tries hard to make everyone's life miserable only to be defeated in the end.
But this is only one part of the movies the industry creates, the other part is a tough drama. When we hear about drama, we are used to movies with sad endings or the ones where everything starts and goes bad but comes to redemption in the end.

1. Khilona (1970)
A truly devastating story about an unfortunate woman who only tried to bring love and joy into the life of a tortured soul. We meet a wealthy family where one of the sons, Vijaykamal, is mentally challenged because he witnessed the death of his beloved. As a result, he loses his mind and is trapped by the family on the terrace of the house.
To help him, his father hires a courtesan named Chand to pretend to be his wife. And while Vijaykamal gets better with her help, it doesn't stop him from sexually assaulting her and the rest of the family from abusing her. And when she becomes pregnant with Vijaykamal's child, the family decides to get rid of her…

2. Lal Patthar (1971)
