5 Most Anticipated Shows To Be Released On AppleTV+ In Early 2024
Is one of them going to become the new hit on the platform?
You could say that scheduling series premieres right after the New Year is a smart idea: people will need a change, and a new show, or several of them, will fit in nicely.
However, Apple TV Plus seems to think otherwise, as they have decided to release only five new shows in January 2024. Well, what if it's a sign that the platform has decided to surprise its audience with some extra high quality content?
1. Criminal Record — January 10
What could be better than starting the year with a good old crime drama? This British one was created by Paul Rutman. The show tells the story of two detectives, one of them, June Lenker, is a young woman who is new to the career, but still very talented and smart. The other is Detective Daniel Hegarty, the veteran of the profession who has dedicated his life to it.
So now they have to work together on an old murder case, but it might be a lot more difficult than they imagined. But will they succeed?
2. Masters of the Air — January 26
The fans of war dramas would be pleased to know that a new series of the genre will be released soon on Apple TV Plus. The series will revolve around the 100th Bomb Group of the US Army during the Second World War.
Many people now remember that event by the name Bloody Hundredth. That’s probably enough for you to know to realize how tough the show would be to watch. However, we still recommend you to do it.
3. The New Look — February 14
This show is actually a limited series that is set during the Nazi occupation of Paris during World War II. Just as Coco Chanel's time as the world's most famous fashion influencer was coming to an end and Christian Dior was starting to gain all the glory in the industry.
The series gives us a chance to look at the horrific events from a completely different perspective, highlighting how beauty actually saved the world.
4. The Dynasty: New England Patriots — February 16
The 10-part documentary will tell the behind-the-scenes story of the rise and fall of the New England Patriots football team. The show will tell it all, highlighting the moments of their journey that helped them go from a struggling team to six-time Super Bowl winners.
5. Constellation — February 21
This fantasy series has Noomi Rapace and Jonathan Banks as its main stars, so that alone should be enough for you to consider watching it. But if you want to know the details, the show is about Jo, a woman who was in space for a long time, and after she returned to Earth, she realized that the most important components of her life were missing.
Constellation is a truly action-packed psychological thriller that will take you to the darkest places of your mind. Fans already predict it’s going to be a hit.
“The amount of money that Apple plows into these series actually gives me a lot of hope. For All Mankind and Foundation spend so much time in space. Both are fantastic shows,” Redditor Forya_Cam said.
