What do you mean we could see Bella and Edward in a much steamier bed scene?

Love scenes have been capturing passionate and intimate moments between onscreen characters for decades.

However, there have been times when filmmakers decided not to include specific steamy moments in the final cuts, leaving them to the audience's imagination.

Here are 5 love scenes we never got to see in the movies.

1. Spider-Man

It seems that Tobey Maguire 's friendly neighborhood could give its fans not only the most iconic kissing scene in the superhero universe but also another steamy Mary Jane and Peter Parker moment.

There was a time when James Cameron was attached to the movie in the early 90s, he left the project but managed to go far enough with the script which was leaked online years later.

According to James' script, Spider-Man and Mary Jane had to have their love scene on the top of the Brooklyn Bridge, and it had to resemble actual biological spider mating rituals. You know, with the dancing and the tying of the limbs.

2. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1

We all remember that passionate destroying (in every possible ways) bed scene between Edward and Bella on their honeymoon. But did you know that it was supposed to be even more inhuman?

The first intimate moment between the vampire and the human had to be re-filmed to pass the PG-13 rating. According to Kristen Stewart herself this long-awaited moment between the characters had to be otherworldly.

"Better sex than you can possibly ever imagine," she says.

3. Loki

Only sharp-sighted and most devoted fans could solve this mystery. If you pause at a certain moment in the "Assembled: The Making of Loki" documentary and zoom in on a whiteboard filled with potential series ideas, you might see that Loki's love life was full and diverse.

We could see him traveling through time and having love affairs with women, aliens, and men. So basically, we could be the witnesses of Loki exploring his sexuality and coming out as bi.

4. Bridgerton ( Season 1)

One of the standout elements of the Netflix show is its beautifully choreographed and steamy love scenes that make viewers swoon.

According to Lizzy Talbot, the show's intimacy coordinator, there are even more characters on the show who had their private moment but the viewers were never meant to see them.

The cut shots were even put into the Season 1 trailer, including the one where Simon has a threesome. We would like to see these cuts on our tables by the end of the week, please.

5. The Crown

The pure and young love between Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, Prince Phillip, was a central storyline of the show's first two seasons. Their relationship was a unique blend of duty, love, challenge, and personal growth.

From the very beginning, however, the showrunners wanted to spice up the marriage of the royal family. There was to be a love scene between the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, but fortunately, it was cut before filming.

There would be absolutely no need to show the sex life of the then-living Queen and her husband.
