Who does Sheldon believe purrfectly portrayed Catwoman?

Catwoman is an iconic character from the Batman universe. Over the years, many talented actresses have donned the Catwoman suit, each bringing their unique flair to the role.

In a particular episode of The Big Bang Theory, titled The Bad Fish Paradigm, Sheldon, of the main characters, finds himself in a classic Sheldon-esque dilemma.

While most of us might ponder on life's big questions, Sheldon's mind is occupied with something entirely different — ranking the best actresses who've portrayed Catwoman over the years.

5. Halle Berry

Halle Berry is Sheldon’s least favorite Catwoman. Now, don't get us wrong, Berry is an outstanding actress. But her solo Catwoman movie in 2004... well, it was a miss for many fans.

The plot was a bit off-course, and it didn't quite resemble the Catwoman we all know and love. But, as Sheldon points out in the episode, “She did make a fine mutant in the X-Men movies though.”

4. Lee Meriwether

The beautiful Lee Meriwether got the role in the 1966 Batman: The Movie. While she had big shoes to fill after Julie Newmar (more on her in a bit), Meriwether delivered a sly, seductive performance. Even though her time as Catwoman was brief, she sure made it memorable.

3. Eartha Kitt

Eartha Kitt, with her distinct voice and impeccable charisma, graced the 1960s Batman TV series with a Catwoman like no other. She brought a new flair and confidence to the role, redefining the character in her unique way. Every time Kitt purred or schemed, you just couldn't look away. She truly was the cat's whiskers.

2. Michelle Pfeiffer

Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman in 1992's Batman Returns was a standout. Her Catwoman was both fierce and vulnerable. The stitched-together catsuit, those killer heels, and the wild hair made for an unforgettable look. It's safe to say her rendition was iconic.

1. Julie Newmar

Taking the top spot is the OG Catwoman, Julie Newmar. Star of the 1960s Batman TV series, Newmar set the bar high with her sultry, playful take on the character.

Her tall frame, iconic catsuit, and flirtatious interactions with Batman made her THE Catwoman for many. Newmar's version was the perfect blend of sophistication and mischief, earning her the top in Sheldon’s heart.
