Office love stories can be both cringey and oh so romantic you wouldn't believe it.

Working 9 to 5 doesn't seem like much fun, but when you share an office with your boo, life gets a little easier. You'll always have someone to look at when you're trying not to burst out laughing when your boss says something stupid, and those long walks after lunch will be a lot more enjoyable.

But sometimes the road to that relationship is a journey full of bumps and unexpected twists, including hiding from HR and shy eye contact across the room, etc.

These five perfect K-dramas will make you go all the way with the characters and their personal lives that get blessed right in the middle of the workplace.

1. Business Proposal (2022)

This is probably one of the most popular workplace dramas among South Korean viewers, and we can see why. The show starts with a girl who, as a favor to her friend, goes on a blind date with a guy that her father approves of. But it turns out that the guy is the boss of the company she works for.

With such a funny premise, there's no chance that the show will disappoint you in any way. With the perfect mix of romance and comedy, Business Proposal makes the show an enjoyable watch that makes you start believing in fate.

2. Strong Woman Do Bong Soo (2017)

This is not your typical rom-com with a boy-hero and a shy, lovesick girl. The name of the series alone lets you understand that the main character of the series is Do Bong Soon a.k.a. a super strong woman who unfortunately wished most of her life to be an ordinary Susan without any super power.

However, it was her strength that helped her find love. She becomes a bodyguard for a rich, nice man named Ahn Min Hyuk and they immediately bond and after some time form a relationship. As they work together, the drama provides its audience with the most hilarious situations and many sweet moments.

3. Suspicious Partner (2017)

This K-drama mixes a little bit of action into the genre and makes it even more interesting to watch. The story of the show revolves around Noh Ji Wook and Eun Bong Hee who are a prosecutor and a prosecutor trainee. They start working together to find the psycho killer and this disturbing case brings them closer and makes them realize how perfect they are for each other.

However, the movie not only gives viewers one of the most compelling love stories, but also catches the attention with strong writing and amazing visuals.

4. Romance is a Bonus Book (2019)

Some might say that childhood crushes are the ones we never really get over, and this K-drama seems to prove the point. Cha Eun Ho is now a respected owner of a publishing company, but deep down he is still a little boy in love with Kang Dan Yi, who happened to be his best friend since childhood.

When she came to him after her divorce and asked him for a job, he gave her one in his company. Of course, this made his time there miserable, as seeing her every day only deepened his feelings. But it seems to have been a good decision, because Dan Yi finally started to see him in a different light.

5. She Was Pretty (2015)

When they were young, Kim Hye Jin and Ji Sung Joon were always together. Hye Jin was the prettiest girl in the world and she saved her not-so-pretty little friends from all kinds of embarrassing situations. But now that many years have passed, everything has changed and the pretty girl is no longer the beauty queen, and the ugly duckling has turned into the handsome man.

When he asked her to meet him, Hye Jin was so embarrassed that she sent her friends instead. Little did she know that she would have to meet him soon...
