And half of them weren't even in the books!

With many incredible and dramatic scenes and amazing acting performances, House Of The Dragon has been rightly praised by both viewers and critics, but it's easy to admit that this show is not for everyone.

Just like Game of Thrones, the show's prequel proved to be so shocking, explicit, and violent that not everyone was able to enjoy it.

You would think that the most loyal fans, those who have read the books and already know the basics of the story, would be the ones who could handle these moments the best.

But there are some scenes in the show that are so bad that not even the books could have prepared anyone to watch them.

Here are 5 House of the Dragon moments that fans wish they'd never seen.

Alicent Pretending To Care After Rhaenyra Gives Birth

Alicent demanding that a newborn Joffrey be brought to her immediately was a dirty but powerful move.

But the faux concern with which she greeted Rhaenyra in her chambers was downright cringe-worthy, and made fans wonder why she was even trying to pretend.

Rhaenyra Calling Daemon Uncle At The Least Appropriate Time

Anyone who stuck with the show for 7 episodes probably already knew about Targaryen customs, so Daemon and Rhaenyra's steamy scene on the beach wasn't a surprise.

However, her calling him uncle right after that was uncalled for and rubbed the audience the wrong way.

Otto Pimping His Own Daughter Out

Otto Hightower's designs have been obvious to viewers from the beginning, thanks to the scene between him and Alicent in the very first episode.

Of course, the situation was bad enough, but it was made worse by Otto suggesting that his daughter wear one of her late mother's dresses.

Aegon II Enjoying The View Of King's Landing A Bit Too Much

It's understandable what the writers were trying to accomplish with this scene, but it was completely unnecessary and could have been avoided.

House Of The Dragon is not the show that is looking for comedic relief, and there is no other reason why anyone would want to see a teenager beating it out from a window.

Larys Enjoying His Time With Alicent Tarantino Style

There's no good way to put it: Larys getting aroused by Alicent's feet was extremely uncomfortable to watch. Did it have a major effect on the plot?

No, it didn't. Was everyone completely disgusted? Yes, they were. Fans still feel that this scene should never have happened and was a classic case of HBO adding something just for shock value.
