5 Gilmore Girls S7 Moments Not as Lame as the Rest of the Season
Are those good, or are they simply the best of the worst?
Pretty much every show ever released has its flaws. For Gilmore Girls, for example, the weakest part was season 7, which is hated by pretty much every single person in the fandom. It was slow paced, it was lame, and it had no real story, which made it hard to get into.
However, there are some moments in every season that can make us feel instantly better. Gilmore Girls season 7 is no exception. Here are 5 scenes that make it at least a little more bearable to watch.
Two Punches For Christopher
That may be the most satisfying thing about seeing a character like Christopher get beaten. To see it once is a pleasure, but to see it twice is what makes the season truly worthwhile. If this season had to happen at all, at least this outcome for Christopher was the best the audience could have hoped for.
Lane’s Baby Shower
There's nothing more precious than the beginning of a new life, and the Gilmore Girls creative team knew they had to capture that perfectly. Even though Lane is confined to her bed, all of her loved ones gather to sing, celebrate, and just be there for her. It really is emotional.
Lorelai and Luke’s Karaoke Scene
Although many viewers did not like the scene, it was actually a very nice touch to Lorelai and Luke's relationship, as well as a show of her commitment to Rory. It is clear that these two people are the ones she loves and cherishes the most, so the first half of the song is clearly directed at her daughter and the second half at Luke.
Rory’s Farewell Party
Nothing hurts a show more than a last-minute cancellation, but Gilmore Girls managed to wrap things up nicely and give Rory Gilmore the goodbye she deserved. All the right words were said during a beautiful party in the rain, and all the tears were instantly wiped from the eyes of the viewers. It was the finale we all wanted.
To Whom It May Concern…
Another sweet moment of Lorelai truly showing her feelings for Luke. Love may take different forms, and this wonderful gesture of appreciation was one of the greatest things she could do for him at the moment of the custody battle. Lorelai laid out every true feeling she had about Luke, and that certainly paid off in the future.
