5 Creepiest Things Glee’s Mr. Schue Has Done, Ranked From Bad To Put Him In Jail
This man should not be teaching any kids at all.
The year 2023 marks the 8th anniversary of Glee 's finale, the day that as many people dread as they anticipate.
Although there are a plethora of crazy storylines to choose from when it comes to unbelievable, creepy, or inappropriate, there is one character involved in half of them. What's worse, this character is a teacher who was supposed to be teaching these kids to be better.
Here are 5 crimes of William Schuester that the fandom will not soon forgive or forget. This man should have been locked up in season 1, and this list will prove it to you.
5. Rocky Horror Rehearsal
Whatever happens between two adults is okay as long as it is consensual, right?
Well, we would add that as long as it doesn't happen right in the classroom, and as long as you're not exposing your students to the very questionable musical in order to seduce your stolen co-worker.
4. Marley's Suspension
There is something very suspicious about the teacher suspending the student for complaining about the revealing costume. It was totally creepy to ask a high school student to wear a shell bikini on stage in the first place, but suspending her for disagreeing is on a whole other level.
3. Pizza Party
There is no universe in which it would be acceptable for the teacher to invite a bunch of his underage students over to his house and spend the evening together.
Although it was portrayed as harmless on Glee, no real parent would ever allow this to happen to their child in real life.
2. (Un)inspiring speech
There are certainly better ways to unite and inspire the group of your students than calling them all minorities when in reality half of them are not. This is one of the worst and downright harmful lessons he could teach them, without taking any responsibility to correct himself afterwards.
1. Blackmailing With Drugs (Bonus: Creeping In The Shower)
There is no recovery from what Schuester has done to Finn Hudson right at the beginning of the series. Creeping on the minor in the shower just to listen to him sing and then blackmailing him into the team with some drugs is unimaginable and shouldn’t ever be excused.
However, somehow back in 2009, this storyline got a pass.
