5 Crazy MCU Theories That Sound Valid
We love a good dose of fan theories.
The MCU has given fans many sprawling storylines and beloved characters to speculate about.
With each new installment, fan theories emerge and start revolving around hidden connections, surprising twists, and unseen depths within the MCU.
These 5 most intriguing and mind-bending fan theories may actually have some validity.
1. Black Widow Is Actually Alive
It could prove the fact that when Hulk snapped, he couldn't bring Natasha back for one reason — she wasn't dead.
According to this theory the reason why Natasha didn't come back in Avengers: Endgame was because she was waiting on Vormir.
Fans believe that Captain America never returned the Soul Stone but he went back in time and gave it to Clint and Natasha.
To make it plausible, she had to stay on the planet and wait for the final battle to end so she wouldn't interfere with an ideal timeline where Thanos was defeated.
She could reset her costume to return after the battle and go on living as a normal person away from all.
2. Thanos Is With Lady Death
Lady Death is a Marvel antagonist and Thanos' love interest. According to the comics, she always favors Thanos and brings him back from the dead.
Many fans believe that after he was defeated in Avengers: Endgame, he was sent to Lady Death to spend his afterlife with her. Doesn't sound like the source of torture we expected him to have.
3. Avengers VS. X-Men Can Happen
As more movies are announced in the MCU, the chances of seeing the anticipated crossover increase.
With Wolverine about to make his comeback in an upcoming Deadpool movie and the Fantastic Four on their way, fans started speculating more about a possible X-Men reunion.
They also believe that it would make more sense if mutants would face off against Avengers as it brings more beloved superheroes together.
4. Tony Stark Never Died
Well, at least not physically. Do you want to say that the most intelligent superhero, who created an artificial intelligence, a holographic projection of himself, and many other incredible inventions, did not make a backup plan in case of his unexpected death? It wouldn't be his style.
Fans believe that Tony Stark could have spent the last 5 years creating another version of Ultron and backing up his own consciousness. Yes, we may not see Tony in his usual form, but who said we'd never see him again?
5. Odin Tried To Posses The Infinity Stones
Who would resist having endless power and domination over other worlds? Definitely not the God of War. According to this fan theory Odin once tried to collect the Infinity Stones. First, there was a replica of the Infinity Gauntlet in Asgard.
Second, no one knows where Hela's mother disappeared. What if he sacrificed her in order to get the Soul Stone? At least we hope he had some good intentions.
