Release Date: February 7, 2024

Number of Episodes: 4

Extraterrestrial civilizations relentlessly capture the minds of people around the world, but sometimes fantasies and hobbies lead to mass psychosis and even the creation of entire sects. The Alien Prophet is a new documentary series that focuses on French journalist Claude Maurice Marcel Vorilhon, known as Raël. What began as Vorilhon's alleged encounter with aliens in 1973 quickly evolved into a movement called Raëlism, and then into a new religious movement (although some experts classify Raëlism as a cult).

Its followers believe in the extraterrestrial civilization of the Elohim, who appeared to humanity in the form of Buddha, Jesus and Mohammed, and now that the era of civilization's decline has come, we must look for new ways of development so that the Elohim will return. The documentary is based on interviews with experts and participants in the religious movement, including Raël himself.

3. One Day, Miniseries

Release Date: February 8, 2024

Number of Episodes: 14

What is the best way to describe the upcoming British TV series One Day, based on the eponymous novel by David Nichols? Probably by comparing it to Richard Linklater's Before trilogy, as the series shares a similar premise: two close souls in their college years are separated for years, only to reunite and rekindle their old feelings.

As the story unfolds, Dexter ( Leo Woodall) and Emma (Ambika Mod) continue to see each other over the years on that one momentous day when they first spent the night together. But while One Day is no less romantic than Linklater's films, expect much more drama and even tragedy.

2. An Incurable Case of Love, Miniseries

Release Date: February 9, 2024

Number of Episodes: 8

A Killer Paradox is probably the most high-profile premiere on Netflix this week. It will be the first television appearance in 7 years for one of the world's most famous South Korean actors, Choi Woo-shik, who has made a name for himself in iconic films like Train to Busan and Parasite — notably, the actor is once again starring in a dark comedy with thriller elements.

Choi Woo-shik will play a simple university student named Lee Tang whose life takes a dark turn when he accidentally kills a drunk man while working part-time at a convenience store. Only the man turns out to be a serial killer, and Lee Tang, shocked yet now deluded that the murder was justified, begins to hunt down other criminals and carry out brutal reprisals against them. Of course, his actions do not go unnoticed, and our budding vigilante finds himself pursued by detectives.
