Test your memories of the iconic show.

One cameo can easily make or break the episode of any TV show. While there are some horrendous examples of shows trying to jump on the hype train and inviting celebrities who clearly lack acting abilities, like Justin Bieber in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, the majority of cameos are fun and lighthearted.

At least, that was always the case for Community. No matter what season, the sitcom never missed the mark with its famous guests.

Here are top five Community cameos that you might’ve forgotten about:

James Brolin

The star of Westwood and The Amityville Horror took over the very important role in Community as well. Brolin first appeared during season 4 of the series and portrayed Jeff's estranged father, William Winger.

Jack Black (+ Owen Wilson!)

It is no surprise that such a funny and well-recognized show like Community featured an appearance of Jack Black. The actor and comedian took over the role of awkward but very friendly guy Buddy, who wanted to join the study group. What’s even better, he’s joined by his The Big Year co-star Owen Wilson.

Brie Larson

That’s right, before getting insanely ripped and taking over the MCU with Captain Marvel, Brie Larson made a couple TV appearances, including Community’s Rachel. She ends up being Abed’s love interest for a while, but unfortunately the couple splits for some unknown reason later on.

Lisa Rinna

Who knew Community also served the interests of their soap-opera-loving viewers? Well, we wouldn’t even think the audiences of Community and Days of Our Lives overlapped, but now they can thanks to the appearance of Lisa Rinna on the series. She had a minor role of the mom of Mark, a teenager who makes fun of Jeff and Britta, but made quite an impression nevertheless.

Betty White

The iconic actress that you wouldn’t necessarily think about while thinking of Community has actually appeared in two episodes as an unexpectedly violent yet extremely entertaining Professor June Bauer. It’s a shame she’s got suspended so fast, the viewers could appreciate more of her presence!
