Virgin River dropped a bombshell on fans at the end of season 5 part 1, revealing that Mel's mother had an affair with a man in town who could very well be Mel's biological father. So who is this man?
That's just one of many questions we're asking as we look ahead to part 2, which will be released on November 30.
1. Is Lizzie Pregnant?
In the last episode of part 1, we got the feeling that there was no pregnancy after all. But the trailer for part 2 made us change our minds, as we witnessed Lizzie's conversation with Hope where she questioned whether she would be a good mother. Why else talk about parenthood?
2. Will Ricky Be Back?
Actually, we don't even have a clue yet as to what will happen to him. But there is a chance that Ricky will be back by Christmas. That's because we know that his training is supposed to last until the end of December. So the possibility of him sharing another scene with Lizzie and Danny is quite high.
3. Will Brie and Brady Be Together?
That's the beauty of Virgin River. Just when we were getting used to the idea that Brie would end up with Mike and Brady with Lark, the holiday chaos arrives to destroy the stability they had achieved. It looks like part 2 is ready to wreak havoc with these two couples.
4. Who Is Mel’s Father?
The revelation that Mel's mother had an affair a long time ago with a man who STILL lives in Virgin River came as a shock. But for the plot of the story, it's just bizarrely convenient. Although the fans are already speculating about the worst possible scenarios. And let us say for sure nobody will take Doc as Mel's father, mark our words.
5. Is It Time for Charmaine to Go?
The timing is perfect to let Charmaine go and finally give Jack and Mel a moment to breathe. Fans think that after the birth of her twins and the fact that Calvin is back on the show, she would want to get some distance from him. And the writers would probably make her leave the show. But that's just speculation, let's wait and see what happens next.
