Whenever it comes out…

Finding out that Resident Alien has been renewed for another season was a relief. The show ended on a huge cliffhanger, so another chapter was an absolute necessity. The quirky sci-fi show is now one of my favorites, and it's annoying to have so many questions left unanswered.

Harry Vanderspeigle's fate is not the only thing that keeps me up at night, there are several other residents of Patience whose fates are still unclear. The third season was the shortest of them all, but it was still the most chaotic chapter and the one with so many events that are crucial to the overall story.

Here are 5 questions I need Resident Alien writers to cover.

1. Will Heather Come Back?

One of the most devastating moments in the third season was to see Heather being forced to betray Harry… It was so wrong for the writers to break up the couple so madly in love in such a terrible way. And while Joseph, who was responsible for all that, changed sides now, it still doesn’t mean that it’s safe for Heather to come back.

But there’s still hope we would see them reconnect because there’s a chance that the Greys have lost interest in Heather and might already leave her alone.

2. When Will The Mantid Be Discovered?

In the episode Homecoming, we discover a new villain and his ugly intentions. The Mantid has been eager to take Harry's form, even to live in his cabin by the lake. And during those several times he was in the guise of Harry, the people who interacted with him fell for it. However, it didn’t take long for Max to reveal the true nature of the villain.

So now we have to wait and see which way the story with him goes. Will he kill Max or Sahar? I really don’t think so. After all, they are the key members of the series. But how long will he keep them hostage?

3. Alien Tracker: A Friend Or An Enemy?

Another character, Peter Bach, also known as the Alien Tracker, is presumed dead at the end of season 2, but the character is reintroduced in a new form in season 3. Linda Hamilton's Resident Alien character enhanced Peter's body with impressive government technology that would allow her to turn the compromised Alien Tracker into her muppet.

But for now, it's not clear whether the character will help Harry or remain a villain. Season 4 will definitely address this question in its first episodes (fingers crossed). Who knows, maybe Peter will be the one helping to even take down the Greys.

4. How Will Harry & Bridget Escape?

The end of season 3 was heartbreaking, showing Harry and Bridget trapped on the Grays' moon ship. And while that's happening, the people of Patience believe that Bridget is dead and Harry is being impersonated by another alien. I know it seems like there’s no way to escape, but I don't believe the writers wouldn’t find a way to make it happen.

For example, we know that Robert didn't believe in fake Harry, so maybe he can be the hero who saves the alien and Bridget, just like he saved the rest of the guys in the season 3 finale?

5. How Will Sheriff Mike Handle The Greys?

My favorite character from the series, Sheriff Mike, is the only character who has shown significant growth during the show's run. And while he is strong in his beliefs about aliens and the rest of the sci-fi stuff, the episode called Homecoming brought him face to face with the Grey alien race.

He finally has to accept something that the rest of the main gang already knows. How will this affect his life?
