All of these mysteries make the wait for The Boys Season 4 all the more exciting.

The story about the students of the Godolkin University, who are faced with a secret conspiracy, develops the stories outlined by The Boys, captivates with new characters and once again grinds the superhero narrative canon.

Gen V left us in anticipation as there are still some mysteries that should be solved. So we can't wait to see Season 4 of The Boys, which, as sad as it may be, shouldn't be expected until 2024.

1. Why Was Billy Butcher In The Woods Laboratory?

We were finally shown the Woods Laboratory, located beneath Godolkin University. And what’s more surprising, Billy Butcher appeared there – apparently he and his gang will be investigating the secrets of the Woods. Now, it’s pretty obvious that scientists' developments will help them in their fight against Homelander.

In episode 7, Indira Shetty secretly met with Grace Mallory. She told her about the super virus developed by the Forest's chief scientist, Edison Cardosa. After the conversation, Mallory took out her phone and asked the mysterious man if he had heard everything. It was most likely Butcher who was on the line, and he probably decided to find a super virus to use as a weapon against Homelander.

2. Where Were Marie And Others Trapped In The Finale?

A news broadcast reveals that Marie, Emma, Jordan, and Andre were blamed for the Godolkin massacre, but what’s even worse, Cate and Sam were called the Guardians of Godolkin.

Marie wakes up in a hospital room, surrounded by her friends. However, there is something odd about this room – there are no doors. Are they trapped in their minds? Somewhere in Vought's deep vault? Obviously everyone but Marie knows, but at this point, the viewers are in the dark.

3. Will Sam And Cate Become The Members of The Seven?

The question of which of Godolkin's students would join the Seven and take the two vacated seats was in the air for all eight episodes. And while most of the time it seemed like one spot was definitely reserved for Marie, the last two episodes of Gen V turned the game on its head.

After all the blame for the massacre was placed on Marie and co., and Sam and Cate were presented as the saviors, it is almost obvious that these two are perfectly suited to become new members of the Seven. But will this be the case, we will find out in the fourth season of The Boys.

4. Is Homelander Planning Something Big?

Homelander appears suspiciously in time during the Godolkin massacre, which means he had an eye on everything that happened there. Homelander clearly planned to frame Marie, Jordan, Emma and Andre, but why? He doesn't do anything for nothing, and setting up a group of students is clearly just part of a larger plan.

Some fans believe that Homelander, who had no interest in politics before, is likely to run for president when he learns of Victoria Neuman's motives, and framing Marie and the others is likely just the beginning of that plan.

5. Will Andre Suffer The Same Fate As His Father?

As shown in the show, Andre's father, the famous superhero Polarity, is suffering from his superpowers – he had a seizure due to multiple microtears in the nerve pathways, and this process of damage can no longer be stopped.

Andre will most likely meet the same end as his father, based on the fact that using his powers is negatively impacting his wellbeing. How long can Andre use his powers without dying is the most important question.
