When Better Call Saul stars took a detour from Albuquerque to deep space.

We all love Better Call Saul for many reasons, but the cast is definitely one of the major ones. The show has blessed us with a talented ensemble cast who have captivated viewers with their exceptional performances.

If you are not only a BCS fan but also a Star Trek fan, you should know that these five great actors from BCS were also in the Star Trek universe. Let's break it down.

Michael McKean

Michael McKean flawlessly portrayed a character who mostly provoked controversial feelings but certainly couldn't leave anyone indifferent: Jimmy's brother, Chuck.

He played the role of The Clown in the 23rd episode of Star Trek: Voyager, season 2.

Raymond Cruz

Tuco Salamanca is the kind of character that you just can't forget. Of course, writing plays a big role, but Raymond Cruz's portrayal in Breaking Bad and BCS was so on point that you simply believe this guy is nuts.

Cruz portrayed a soldier named Vargas in the 8th episode of season 7 of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Jonathan Banks

Jonathan Banks totally rocked as Mike in Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad. He was such a badass, and you couldn't help but love every move he made.

But Star Trek: Deep Space Nine did him dirty. He portrayed the leader of the Ennis, Golin Shel-la. And to be honest, this guy looks downright terrifying.

Mark Margolis

Mark Margolis absolutely nailed this creepy and intense vibe of Hector Salamanca that made this character so memorable.

Margolis delivered a role as a Tanugan scientist Doctor Nel Apgar in Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Patrick Fabian

BCS managed to convince us that Howard Hamlin was a jerk, but he eventually became one of the show's most relatable and sympathetic characters. And Patrick Fabian's performance as Howard was simply on point, to say the least.

Fabian previously had a role on Star Trek: Voyager. He portrayed Taymon, a humanoid male, who was eventually killed by his own wife. Seems like Fabian's characters just can't catch a break.
