5 Best NCIS Guest Stars Who Stole the Show, Ranked From Least to Most Memorable
Do you remember them all?
The police procedural NCIS just recently finished its 21st season, and during this time many actors have managed to appear as guest stars.
We have selected the five most outstanding — those who have aroused the most enthusiasm among fans.
5. Abigail Breslin — Season 2 Episode 1 "See No Evil"
Abigail Breslin won the hearts of viewers around the world in her early childhood when she starred in Little Miss Sunshine. Having started acting as a child, she gained acting experience faster than her peers and captured the audience's attention in the episode of NCIS titled See No Evil.
This intense episode told the story of an eight-year-old blind girl (played by Breslin) and her mother, who are kidnapped to blackmail a Naval captain into transferring $2 million in government money to the criminals.
4. Millie Bobby Brown — Season 12 Episode 6 "Parental Guidance Suggested"
Millie Bobby Brown has achieved great success in her relatively short acting career. In addition to the Netflix hit Stranger Things, viewers could see the very young actress in the BBC project Intruders as well as in Grey's Anatomy. The actress appeared in NCIS in season 12.
In the episode Parental Guidance Suggested, Millie played the outstanding role of a girl with psychological problems, Rachel. Her mother and the wife of a Naval captain is brutally murdered and the NCIS team must find out the cause of this tragedy.
3. Bob Newhart — Season 8 Episode 12 "Recruited"
Bob Newhart hasn't been appearing in many movies and TV shows lately, but let's say one thing — is there any person who doesn't like this actor? He has appeared in such cult projects as The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon, The Librarian and Desperate Housewives. In NCIS he can be seen in the eighth season.
In the twelfth episode, Newhart played Dr. Mallard's mentor, while the team investigated the death of a Navy recruiter.
2. Charles Durning — Season 2 Episode 7 "Call of Silence"
Charles Durning had a remarkable fate — he was a World War II veteran, awarded with a Silver Star and three Purple Hearts. He changed many jobs: he was a taxi driver, a waiter, a dancer. Soon he began acting in the theater in Shakespeare's plays.
In NCIS, Durning can be seen in one of the highest-rated episodes, Call of Silence. Here the character was close to his real-life prototype — Charles played a veteran of World War II.
1. Christopher Lloyd — Season 17 Episode 20 "The Arizona"
The biggest guest star on NCIS was Christopher Lloyd. Undoubtedly, the actor's main role is the irrepressible Dr. Brown, who invents a time machine in the shell of a stylish DeLorean sports car. But his appearance in the police drama deserves attention, too.
The actor played one of the main roles in the episode The Arizona — one of the most emotional chapters of the entire series, which brought tears to the eyes of all viewers. Lloyd starred as a 95-year-old former Navy sailor who served on the USS Arizona when it was attacked at Pearl Harbor in 1941.
