5 Best Chicago Fire Season 12 Predictions from the Fans
Anticipating the next season of Chicago Fire, the fans are speculating on what we can expect to happen, and here are the most likely and educated guesses so far.
Kidd and Severide
Chicago Fire has already prepared a plan B in case Taylor Kinney doesn’t come back and we won’t see Kelly Severide’s return in season 12. He will obviously disappear on his secret investigation, and after some time, Stella Kidd will begin dating Carver who was added to the show as Kidd’s plan B in the first place.
And in case Kelly does come back to Stella, there’s a plan B for Carver, too: he will continue growing closer to Violet, eventually ending up with her.
Mouch and Kylie
Mouch will survive the incident but won’t be able to continue serving in the Firehouse. If Severide returns, Mouch will move to a desk job; if Kelly disappears, the seasoned firefighter will retire, and his place in the 51st will be taken by Carver, allowing him to not be Stella’s direct subordinate to make their relationship possible.
Meanwhile, Kylie will take his probie place, enabling a dramatic story arc as she begins serving under her admitted hero’s direct command.
Brett and Casey
Brett will probably end up saying “no” to Casey and proceeding with her adoption quest alone. She will most likely appeal to the fact that her adoptive daughter is her fate, and her only desire is to dedicate all her time, effort, and love to her. This would make things more life-like as the two getting back together would be too perfect.
In this case, after rejecting Casey and going through with adoption alone, Brett may as well retire from the Firehouse as being Paramedic in Charge is way too busy.
Hermann and Cindy
After Mouch’s close brush with death, Hermann will likely decide to not take any chances and take the opportunity to be alive and happy, instead. He will retire, take Cindy up on her second chance offer, and will become a gentleman club owner, appearing occasionally later in the series. He and Cindy will live happily.
Firehouse 51
S12 will be Chief Boden’s last season on Chicago Fire: he will leave himself or be forced to leave from atop. This will shake things up for the upcoming finale, and for the same reason, at least one major character will be written off in the next season. It’s also likely that S12 will be a short season with one main story arc.
