Fans have exciting spinoff ideas that would breathe new life into The Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead has already grown with a bunch of spinoffs. The universe is huge, and there are so many possibilities for more spinoffs. Reddit users shared their ideas for spinoffs they would love to see come true, and interestingly, the best of them are prequels.

The Kingdom: Ezekiel and Jerry

Fans suggested a prequel spinoff about Ezekiel, back when he was just a zookeeper. No crown, no king act, just a guy taking care of a tiger. Then, in walks Jerry. The apocalypse begins, and these two decide to make a safe space, like a kingdom.

The show could tell us about all the crazy stuff they went through to make the Kingdom a reality. We are talking about scavenger hunts for supplies, recruiting new people, and Jerry's attempts at medieval humor. It would be a great buddy dramedy with zombies.

The Dixon Brother: Daryl and Merle

Who doesn't love the Dixon brothers? This spinoff could take us back to the good ol' days in Georgia, where Daryl's learning the ropes from bad-boy Merle. We'd get to see their tough love, their fights, and how they ended up being the badass duo we know.

It would be like a family drama but with crossbows and motorcycles. And as the world starts to fall apart, we'd see them make the hard calls that lead them to Atlanta and into our hearts.

Becoming The Governor

Alright, The Governor is messed up, but how did he get that way? It would be interesting to know how a regular guy named Philip tried to keep his family safe as the world went to hell. Slowly but surely, he would start making some choices and become the Governor.

We could meet people who either fueled his crazy or tried to stop it. And what about his daughter Penny? Her story could make this even more of a tearjerker.

Alexandria Origins

Alexandria seemed like a safe haven (at least before Rick’s group arrived). But how did it get there? It would be interesting to know how Deanna became the leader. Cue Aaron and Eric, who roll up just as the zombie madness is kicking off.

We'd see them scavenging, building fences, and maybe even holding town hall meetings about whether or not to let newbies in.
