Captain Benjamin Sisko is one of the fans' favorite characters in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Sisko is known for his strong will, determination, and strategic thinking, while he also delivers some of the funniest moments for the show.

Let's take a look at the best scenes when Sisko managed to make us laugh.

Sisko intimidates Worf

Due to a mishap with the transporter, the characters in Bashir's secret agent holosuite program are accidentally replaced with the physical bodies of the senior staff of the station in the 10th episode of season 4.

Sisko couldn't help but laugh with amusement when he heard he intimidated Worf, and he did it in such a hilarious way.

Ow!

In the first episode ever, Sisko experiences a mental journey to Gilgo Beach, years in the past (around 2354), precisely when and where he first met his wife Jennifer. He vividly relives the exact moment of their initial meeting.

The whole scene is fun, but when Sisko joyfully exclaimed "OWW", that was the moment that cracked viewers up.

Baseball goes wrong

In the 4th episode of season 7, Sisko was challenged to a basketball game by his former classmate, Captain Solok.

As the games goes on, Sisko engages in an argument with the umpire Odo over the called third strike on Worf. Sisko says to the referee:

"Oh, what the hell were you looking at? You can't tell me that ball was over the plate. What were you doing, regenerating?"

Ha!

In the 10th episode of season 4, the physical forms of the station's senior staff are substituted for the characters in Bashir's secret agent holosuite program due to a transporter mishap.

In one of the scenes, Dr. Hippocrates Noah (a holosuite character that looks exactly like Sisko) holds Bashir at gunpoint, when Bashir tries to save himself by agreeing with Dr. Hippocrates Noah.

His response was short but so hilarious and memorable, that fans believe this split second to be the funniest in all the history of television.
