Believe it or not, there are actors who have found themselves in roles they despised or at least, had some problems with the crew, even if their performances on-screen appeared flawless. Let’s remember some of those actors.
Max Wright (Alf)
In the 80s sitcom Alf, Max Wright portrayed Willie Tanner, the father of a family that adopts a mischievous alien. Surprisingly, Wright had a disdain for his character and the show as a whole.
The actor despised the role due to its huge technical demands and the fact that he played a supporting character for an inanimate object. He later revealed that he was happy when the show was over.
Robert Reed (The Brady Bunch)
While the iconic sitcom The Brady Bunch depicted a harmonious family life, behind the scenes, Robert Reed, who played Mike Brady, held a deep resentment towards his character and the series as a whole.
He believed that the show lacked depth and substance, and often clashed with the writers. Reed felt that the character of Mike Brady was too one-dimensional.

Paul Wesley (The Vampire Diaries )

Mandy Patinkin (Criminal Minds )
Mandy Patinkin portrayed the highly intelligent and empathetic Jason Gideon on the crime procedural drama Criminal Minds. However, Patinkin's experience on the show was far from pleasant.
