3 TV Shows You Don't Remember Lance Reddick in
This late actor was a true legend who deserved more recognition and fan love than he ever got.
On March 17, we had to say goodbye forever to one of the greats of our time – actor Lance Reddick. He died peacefully at his Los Angeles home at just 60 years old. His wife Stephanie paid a tribute to him in an Instagram post.
She wrote, "Lance was taken from us far too soon." We couldn't agree more…
Stephanie also urged fans to make donations to MOMCares, an organization based in Baltimore that supports Black mothers.
Lance's colleagues and friends – including Halle Berry, Ming-Na Wen, and Terry Crews – expressed their condolences to Stephanie and the two children Yvonne Nicole and Christopher.
The late actor was well-known for playing Cedric Daniels in The Wire and for starring as Charon in the John Wick franchise. Where else could we have seen him, you ask?
Plenty of places. For instance, he appeared as FBI Agent David Park in 2005's CSI: Miami. That happened almost 20 years ago and just for three episodes. The Wire prepared Lance well for all sorts of law enforcement!
Then there was the role in 2008's Lost. He played Matthew Abaddon for four episodes. Another show, another agent – though with slightly different expertise. Still, Reddick was quite memorable!
Do you remember the weird sitcom Wilfred where an ex-lawyer could see his neighbor's dog as a human? Lance was there too! He appeared as Dr. Blum in one of the episodes. At least, not an agent this time…
We are all going to miss this legendary actor, and here is our chance to thank him for all his performances. Let's go binge John Wick one more time and remember how great of an actor we lost…
